Key West vacation Part 3: Neon strip and Polka dot

I promise after this post there is one last post to finish off  my story about my trip to the Florida Keys,I feel it's has taken so long for me to show you that beautiful place.I hope i haven't bored you with it!!!

I have to admit having lots of trouble  choosing only few pictures and after seeing  a fellow blogger posting about her the fabulous trip to Europe and having lots of pictures too, i don't feel as bad now.

Last time i was in Germany 2 years ago i took 600 photos in a 5 weeks time frame but at the time i wasn't blogging.Imagine if i go now ha ha .

This time is basically about the same things but at day time,lots of sightseeing by the bay ,the red mansion,the sunset key a small island in front of the main island, ect.

The Rooster is the main animal on this island and they roam free on the streets and it seems to me there is a over population of them .I must say i didn't see as many chickens around as roosters lol ?!

On this day we had a small picnic below a huge tree as seen on the photo below,it was a very windy day.

We walked around,took some more pictures of all the activities  by day and i got so excited to see the Marilyn Monroe statue i had so much fun posing next to her .

About my outfit, i wanted to be as comfortable as possible with temperatures in the upper 90's  this seem most appropriate.

My top is  from last years, it's very sheer and it has faded neon strips so i wore this neon tank underneath to enhance the color of it.

I completed the look by adding this fun navy polka dot flats and red lips but somehow my lipstick started to fade through out the day.

Vacation Part 2 :Peplum, Floral and Zebra

On this day we rushed to the pier to see the sunset ,one of the things Key West is famous for.
If you are staying at the Westin hotel by the bay this is the amazing view you see at every sunrise and sunset .
They also offer a sunset cruise for a 11/2 hour where they take you out to the ocean,the trip include food,couple of glasses of wine and good music.
It's simply gorgeous and breath taking how beautiful the cloud looks with the sun trying to peek out,pictures speak more then thousand words.
You will be seeing a lot of pictures of me  at the brick mansion,i was fascinated by the beauty and color of it.
We ended the night by walking around the historical plaza and eating some good ice cream.


About my outfit, i wanna start off saying my kids hated this top saying it looks like a old blanket,i tried to convinced them otherwise but with no luck they still hate it.
Still bummed by my kids opinion i manage to still wear it and convinced myself the top was cute lol
I wanted to create a sophisticated look , still keep it fun and colorful,what you guys think of the pairing??

Hello Everybody,

Sorry for being MIA for almost two weeks,exactly a week ago my family and i took a log weekend trip to the Florida keys.
In result of taking so many pictures i will be posting a break down of 3 to 4 post related to my trip to key west Florida,the place is beyond beautiful with  lots of things to see and do.
We were there for only 3 days that truly felt like a week and we have already decided a trip back with extra cash to spend with the mission of flying out from there to a remote place called Turtle Keys.
I was born in a island and ever since i was a little girl i been driven to the ocean and tropical places i guess it runs in my blood and i'm blessed to have a partner that share the same passion as me.That doesn't necessary mean i don't love the antique cities of Europe with their breath taking landscape,castles and mountains.Growing up in Germany divided me in two,the love for the Caribbean but also the love for great cities.
I was so happy to make this trip with my dog Skippy too,i believe he enjoyed the trip too and we loved having him with us.
Highlights of my first day there,flooded streets in results of heavy summer rain which only lasted few hours then the sun came out, the amount of bicycles, motorcycles and colored painted houses and beautiful flowers every where,so typical of island living.
About my outfit: a simple old dress with neon sandal i felt like a little girl in this dress.
I love that my little loverboy(how i call my little son  sometimes)  where he sees a flower he always go and gets it for me,how sweet is he,my inspiration to shoot the pictures around this flower.
