Casual Friday

 Hi everyone,

A Casual look for running errands like soccer meetings and baseball games!!
I'm also playing with nail colors and decided to paint each nail differently ,i think i like it.
I'm so excited about my birthday in a couple of days on  July 2nd to be exact yeiii,i love summertime and July has a special meaning to me since i was a little girl.
We are currently sick in the house,specially the kids :/ so i not sure how i be celebrating my birthday it's on a Monday too.
Are you guys doing anything special for the 4 of July ???
Wanna give a big thanks to all of the visitors i had on my previous post,thanks you so much for the love and your sweet comments ,you guys made me really happy.

Wear Spikes

Hi Everybody,

This is another challenge wear studs or spike hosted by Nanyklozet!!!

Taking pictures anywhere was impossible since  here in Florida we've been dealing with Tropical Storm Debby, it has been raining none stop and we are under tornado watch.

The weather channel says it will be like this for several more days and because of that i decided to take the pictures inside my home.

I have my due respect for Huracan's my last experience with one was with Huracan George category 4 in my native country Dominican Republic almost 14 years ago.It was at the same year i got married.

I can't imagine experiencing one here in the USA since  houses here are build so different and i just don't understand why ?!

That time for my family and me was really challenging not only physically but emotionally and mentally!

The devastation,the isolation one feels during and after the storm is overwhelming and i can't described with words.

All i know is that one has a different prospective to life after that, family becomes so important,life is valued and every little thing is missed like clean water or electricity.

I'm blessed to had survived it with my family but its memory will be with me all my life, all of it is still so fresh in my mind,all of  the hard work ,all of the difficulties and all the weight i lost ect...

I thought i share that story with you guys!!

In the Jungle

Hello my Lovely,

Living in Florida provide family with a variety of wild life experiences and state parks,this time we visited the Hillsborough state park again after more then 3 years.
It was right at the time where we newly moved to Florida I had forgotten how breath taking this park is being only couple of miles away from where i live,i really enjoyed seeing it again.
The Hillsborough River  is a area also know as a watershed a land that tunnels water towards a stream ,river,lake or coast.Regardless of where you live ones live in a watershed.
A green swamp and a crystal spring  provide the main water source for the Hillsborough river and also the Hillsborough river reservoir is the primary source of drinking water for Tampa.The water is treated by a supplier before delivered to the public.
Our actions today will affect our water source in the future is important to grow awareness of the things we do that could harm our nature, like pollution,trash and chemicals,think twice before you throw and recycle.
This park also offers a public swimming pool,picnic/camping area,canoeing,fishing,playgrounds , bicycle and a walking trails just to  name a few of the many things you can do there.
I wasn't originally planning on taking pictures of myself  i wore something simply for a day at the pool,so please my apologies for the wet cover up dress,the no make up,the freeze hair and for the marked date on the pictures(i don't know how that happened).
This day started off first cloudy,then sunny  and then finally raining we had an amazing time there,the only complain where all the mosquito that were eating us alive as soon as we were standing still.
